Sayulita is a magical little surf town that has a special place in our hearts. Although it's on the beach, what makes this town so special is actually the town, right next to the beach. It's completely walkable - about 10-15 minutes from one end to the other. Its cobblestone streets are lined with adorable shops, great restaurants, and vendors galore. The vibes are colorful, creative, and mildly hippie-ish. It's one of those places that you walk around and think to yourself, "This is what life should always feel like."
On the beach, you can relax over a meal with your feet in the sand, or enjoy a $25 hour-long massage. The entire 2-mile town is walkable from end to end, but renting a golf cart for $50 a day is fun way to get around.
To get to Sayulita, you fly into Puerto Vallarta (PVR) and take a taxi about 45 minutes North to Sayulita. Once you're there, get ready to unplug, enjoy, and put your sandals on!
